The SMART Board interactive whiteboard has a large, interactive screen on which our teachers and your child can explore a website, take a virtual field trip, color, learn about shapes, the alphabet, and observe pictures and video about any classroom topic. It helps improve student motivation and performance by making learning a dynamic classroom experience.

The key to this experience is touch. You simply touch the surface to select menus and icons. To write notes, pick up a pen, and write with either the pen or your finger.

The whiteboard software includes curriculum-specific clip art and templates that support pre-school math, literacy and science instruction, meeting the needs of both visual and kinesthetic learners.  Students see large, vibrant images and physically interact with the material by moving letter, numbers, words and pictures with their fingers.  Our students can see, read and manipulate information more easily.  The introduction of this technology will be an asset for our pre-schoolers in fostering their kindergarten preparedness and motivating them for future success.
