Many exciting activities and experiences await your child when he/she becomes part of the WONDERFUL
WORLD OF THE PARK SHORE COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL. Our classrooms are very well equipped with all the
necessary materials and equipment to run our very exciting programs. Our professional teaching
staff will make sure that your child’s adjustment and daily routines are always full of fun,
enjoyment, and safety.
Our programs have been constructed by highly trained and qualified early childhood educators and will enable your child to learn and grow at his/her own pace. They are filled with many stimulating and enriched activities to aid in the nurturing and development of your child.
Toddler Program
Our outstanding Toddler Program for children ages 2 - 2 1/2 is designed to create an atmosphere of
warmth, security, and discovery. One of the most important aspects of our Toddler Program is
the social experience. Each day your child will experience a variety of activities to help stimulate
and foster his/her developmental growth. Music and Movement are a daily part of our program. Healthy,
nutritious snacks and lunch are served daily to all children. There are 2, 3, and 5 day sessions
available between the hours of 9:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. The class size is limited and kept small
to insure the safest environment for your child.
Nursery Threes Program
Children are active learners and learn from their experiences. Your child’s first school
experience at Park Shore will be exciting, nurturing, fun, and will provide the opportunity for them
to become confident, independent, successful learners. Our Nursery Program combines “Learning
Through Play” while providing every child with balanced, developmentally appropriate activities
each day, which ensures that each child is secure, confident, and happy.
Pre-K Fours Program
Our Pre-K program is designed to offer an enhanced learning experience that builds upon and strengthens skills gained from their previous experiences and that will prepare them for a successful transition into Kindergarten. We will not only teach the children the skills needed to excel academically in Kindergarten, but we will impart to them a true love for learning, a sense of accomplishment, strong self-confidence, while allowing each child to express their own uniqueness and creativity. The Pre-K curriculum includes activities in Pre-reading, writing development, language enrichment, math, science exploration, art, music, computers, and gym.
