WHAT SETS US APART FROM ALL THE REST
“SEE” PROGRAM
(Specialized Enrichment Experience)
Park Shore continues to give our students the most fulfilling academic and social experiences with the introduction of our “SEE” program, (Specialized Enrichment Experience.) To meet the changing statewide curriculum standards, Park Shore has introduced this enrichment program inclusive of all of our students. Three and four year old children experience extended academic activity with a weekly focus on developing their problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Each week is focused on a specific topic consistent with our already well-established thematic units. Our objective is to further enhance the concepts and skills your children will need to be successful in their future learning endeavors. Our students partake in enriching activities in reading, writing, phonics, math and science in a fun filled and challenging learning experience. Classroom teachers extend the concepts in their classrooms to further enhance the learning environment. Headed by Melissa Krauss, our Program Director and an expert in early childhood education, our students are truly given the tools needed for all future learning endeavors.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
Park Shore’s newly enhanced Physical Fitness Program is second to none. Healthy bodies are as important as healthy minds. Developing a love for physical activity is so important in today’s world of too much TV, video games, and fast food. Tae Bo as well as kid-friendly Strength and Conditioning Training are but a few of the unique fitness programs offered at Park Shore.
Our newest addition is the Park Shore Gym. This indoor heated facility gives endless opportunities for physical activity during the winter months. We are very excited to offer Gymnastics in the 2007-2008 school year. Our extensive gymnastics equipment will give the children a great workout as well as develop new skills. The indoor gym enables winter sports such as soccer, basketball, and many other ball games in addition to having plenty of room for aerobic workouts, which strengthen gross motor skills. Our NEW indoor ball pit and bounce will provide hours of fun and laughter.
