Our children are growing up in a world dominated by computers.
Our Computer Program is designed to give our students a jump start on their Computer Education.
We feel it is very important for our students to learn computer skills at an early age. Our computer program is designed to introduce your child to the fundamentals of how to use a computer and learn from the programs he or she uses.
Park Shore has a separate computer room designed with multiple stations for your child to work independently, as well as with a partner.
Your child will learn the different parts of the computer and how to use the mouse and keyboard. Our computer programs are used to teach the basics of the computer, as well as lessons in math, language arts, drawing, and reading skills. Supervised instruction provides one-on-one guidance for use of age-appropriate programs and educational internet experiences. Our goal is for our students to develop a strong foundation of computer skills that will benefit their future in computer education.
Our computer program offers children hands-on experiences and one-on-one teacher/student interaction to introduce them to basic skills
In our state-of-the-art computer lab, your child will have the opportunity to practice their computer skills under the direction of a professional computer teacher. Each class visits twice per week, giving our students the time they need to build their online and internet navigation skills, and mouse control, all while playing educational and age-appropriate games under supervised, one-on-one guidance.
