Deer Park Shore Parents,
Hello and welcome to the Wonderful World of Park Shore Science. I am so excited to be able to explore and discover the many different wonders of science with your children this year. Children are naturally curious and together we will ask and answer many questions about the world around us. We will take advantage of the warm and wonderful weather, the beautiful grounds of Park Shore and explore the outdoors as long as we can. Over the next few weeks, our outdoor activities will include turning our eyes to the sky and learn about the sun, the moon, the stars and much more! If the moon cooperates with us, we may even be able to take a sneak peek through our telescope and learn about its parts and what they do. We will watch the changes taking place around us as summer slowly gives way to fall. We will also do some fall bulb planting and anticipate the beauty this will create for Park Shore in the spring.
I look forward to a wonderful school year with our children and will keep you posted on our activities. It is my hope that our little scientists will come home each day with exciting stories of what they have discovered in the Park Shore Laboratory!
Sincerely,
|
