This month for our "SEE" enrichment program, we were introduced to animals that hatch.
In addition to our "animals that hatch" program, we will revisit the dinosaurs. With the help from National Geographic we can virtually see the giants that lived millions of years ago. I hope you have enjoyed the topics I have chosen to enhance and teach our children. I have many new and fun subjects planned for next year. Your children continue to inspire me with their thirst for learning. It is fascinating to watch them learn and grow. Thank you for letting them be a part of our Park Shore family.
Sincerely,

Once again, using the SMART Board, we were able to see all the
different kinds of animals that hatch.
This lesson opened up a whole new segment of science. Not only did we
learn about the many different animals born from eggs, we also learned about
reptiles, amphibians, birds, insects and farm animals. The children loved learning about this
subject and I had fun teaching it to them. We read the story Waiting for
Wings by Louis Ehlert, a wonderful story about the life cycle of a
butterfly. Ms. Ehlert is the illustrator and author of this vibrant and
fascinating picture book. The artwork is unique and alive with beautiful
colors. The story inspires a sense of wonderment and amazement. We also read Tale
of a Tad Pole and The Chick That Wouldn't Hatch Louis Ehlert.
