Dear Parents,
This month our children dusted off their passports and traveled the globe. We started our journey by reading the story “Town Teddy and Country Bear Go Global.” These two lovable bears travel through some of the world’s most famous places. Their first stop was the Amazon Rainforest. We then went on to visit Buckingham Palace, the Pyramids in Egypt, the Great Barrier Reef, the Taj Mahal, the Eiffel Tower, and the Arctic Wildlife Refuge.
These bears gave us a colorful and informative education on all these attractions. We then had a visual slide show of all these remarkable places. Every time I teach an enrichment lesson I always say this was the best. Once again I find myself saying “This was the best.” I would also like to take the time to thank Miss Michele for helping me with all the technical support for putting together all the Smart Board programs. Next month we will experience “Extreme Weather.” We will encounter Tornadoes, Snow Storms, Hurricanes, Monsoons, and Rainbows. I hope Mother Nature doesn’t give us a preview of the Blizzards we are going to learn about. I hope your children are enjoying these lessons as much as I have. I want to thank those of you who have given me feedback from your children. My heart is truly in teaching your children.
Sincerely,
|
