2012 Special Events Welcome Letter

Dear Park Shore Parents and Campers,

    The Summer of 2012 is almost here so I am sending out a big hello to all of our friends who are gearing up to join us for a fantastic, outstanding, over the top summer. It gives me great pride to tell you that we have been working very hard to make the summer of 2012 the most exciting, memorable season Park Shore has ever experienced. Our Camp Directors, Counselors, and Activity Specialists are excited to begin having fun together with your children. Not only is this going to be an unforgettable summer filled with amazing adventures, fun and more laughs than ever before, but all of us at Park Shore promise to make this summer far exceed your greatest expectations. The Summer of 2012 has a schedule filled with awesome special events and fun weekly themes that include some of the following: Discover, Imagine & Create, Buckets of Fun, Splash-tacula, Carnival Craze, Games Gone Wild, We're Wet ,We're Wacky, We're Completely Medieval!, Field of Dreams, Avenue of the Stars and let’s not forget the New 9th week “Grand Slam” Besides entertainers coming in, we will have many over the top fun theme days through out the entire summer.

   We will begin our first week getting to know each other, creating new friendships as well as reuniting with our friends from summers past .This week we also have picture day and will notify you of your groups day. Please remember to wear your Park Shore Tee shirt and a big smile. We will have Pajama Day Thursday, June 28th, so don't forget to wear you favorite PJ's. Our first Entertainer of 2012, that will be making us all laugh is a talented and absolutely hysterical comedian, story-teller and musician ALL in ONE! We are so excited to have Keith Munslow coming to Park Shore.

   Get ready to start week two with a really fun theme where anything is possible. So let’s all have “Bucket of Fun.” We will have Super Hero Day please wear Red, White and Blue. Our Snack Shack Grand Opening will be this week and we will end the second week with a BMX Stunt Show that will “AMAZE” all. Camp will be closed Wednesday, July 4th . We hope you have a Star Spangled day filled with laughter, fun, and excitement and will see you on Thursday, July 5th.

Our goal at Park Shore is to make sure we all create memories to last a lifetime and assure that each and every one of us have the best summer camp experience. We can't wait for Summer 2012 to begin! See you soon!
