2011 Special Events Welcome Letter

Dear Park Shore Parents and Campers,

          The Summer of 2011 is almost here so I would like to send out a big huge hello to all of our friends who are gearing up to join us for a fantastic, outstanding, over the top summer.  It gives me great pride to tell you that we have been working very hard to make the summer of 2011 the most exciting, memorable, MAGICAL season Park Shore has ever experienced.  Our Camp Directors, Counselors, and Activity Specialists are excited to begin having fun together with your children.  Not only is this going to be an unforgettable summer filled with amazing adventures, fun and more laughs then ever before but all of us at Park Shore promise to make this summer far exceed your greatest expectations.

The Summer of 2011 has a schedule filled with awesome special events and fun weekly themes that include some of the following: team building activities, Puppet Shows, Comedy Shows, afternoon carnivals, a visit from the well known Steve Max, Pony Rides, A Petting Zoo, Jungle Bob's Reptile Show and of course, the occasional theme days will always be thrown in to put a smile on all our faces.

          We will begin our first week getting to know each other, creating new friendships as well as reuniting with our friends from summers past.  Pre-School will get to be a part of a song and puppetry concert with Janice Buckner who has the ability to make her puppets come to life.  The Junior and Senior campers will really be in for a treat this week with the team building events taking place.  This week we also have picture day.  Please remember to wear your Park Shore Tee-shirt and a big smile.  Our picture day schedule will be posted on our website when we closer.  Camp will be closed on Monday, July 4th, so we hope you have a Star Spangled day filled with laughter, fun and excitement and look forward to your return on Tuesday, July 5th.

          Get ready to start week two with a really fun theme where anything is possible.  So let's all "Catch the Moment - Enjoy the Fun."  We will have Karaoke Lunches, Silly Sock Day, A Pre-School Princess and Pirate Party, JR/SR dress up like a Rock Star Day, our Snack Shack Grand Opening and we will end the second week with a hilarious show.

          Our goal at Park Shore is to make sure we all create memories to last a lifetime and assure that each and everyone of us have the best summer camp experience.
