2011 Special Events Week 8

Dear Park Shore Parents and Campers,

I wish I had the magical powers to extend camp by another few weeks. We are having too much fun to have to say hello to Week 8. The events we have planned for our final days together will surely knock your socks off!!! We have an action packed week so let’s get ready and have some fun. Our very own professional Caberet Kids will put on a stellar performance for all of their parents to enjoy on Monday. It truly is spectacular!!!!
Please do not forget that on Tuesday, you get to dress up your counselor as a rock star and have them parade around the food emporium showing off their Rock N Roll Look!! Let’s get creative!!! Move over Broadway and make room for Park Shore’s Got Talent!!!! On Wednesday, August 17th, our very own staff will put on the funniest, most laughable, talented show on Long Island!! One of our favorite highlights of the summer!

On Friday August 19th, we will have a farewell banquet and then we will have Jonathan Geffner, who is a ventriloquist, performing magical feats guaranteed to make all our campers wonder, “How did he do that?” And that’s not all….. Jungle Bob will be back due to popular demand with new exotic animals and fun facts for all of us. Gamin-Ride will also be here as well and last but not least we also have a Surprise in store for everyone.

Even though the summer is slowly coming to an end, it is so important to remember the good feelings and wonderful memories we all had and how they will stay with all of us forever. Have a great year and we will see everyone in 2012!!
