Dear Park Shore Parents and Campers,
We are so thrilled with the excitement and fun all of our campers had this week. It was an incredible feeling seeing our campers and staff members at the very first arrival of the summer. As the music played, we witnessed a tremendous amount of energy flowing through the camp beginning with the arrival of the very first bus. All of us instantly re-united with past Park Shore friends and welcomed new campers as the summer of 2011 officially started. We certainly didn’t waste any time jumping right back into the swing of things. This week we all got our pictures taken, we celebrated 4th of July in its typical Park Shore fashion, the Pre-school division had it’s popping up puppets this week! They had a visit from a Park Shore Favorite, Janice Buckner, and all her perky, precocious, passionate, playful puppets that sang ,told stories and made us all giggle. The Jr & Sr division had team building activities through an amazing drumming celebration with Robert Friedman.
As we enter into week 2, “Catch the Moment-Enjoy the Fun” be prepared for a lot of fun-filled events! We will have Bounce Rides, Karaoke Lunch, Silly Sock Day, Grand opening of our snack shack, A Comedy Show, Pre-schoolers will be invited to attend a Pirate /Princess party they will never forget , and Jr /Sr’s will get a chance to dress up as their favorite Rock Star or Diva .
