Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
I wish I had the magical powers to extend camp by another few weeks. We are having too much fun to have to say hello to Week 8. The events we have planned for our final days together will surely knock your socks off!!! We have an action packed week so let’s get ready and have some fun. Our very own professional Park Shore players will put on a stellar performance for all of their parents to hear on Tuesday afternoon. It truly is a spectacular performance!!!!

Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
IT’S FINALLY HERE!!! The week we’ve all been waiting for….COLOR WAR!!! Orange vs. Blue. It’s the ultimate in friendly competition, true sportsmanship and camp spirit. This week is the best of the best! We have exciting field activities that promote team spirit, songs and cheers created by our unbelievable Generals and Lieutenants, banners and plaques to make, and so much more! Our campers will be divided into two teams!! It is an awesome sight to see!! On Monday, August 6th, some of our very own Park Shore staff will shoot their way through our basketball courts launching our three-day competition with excitement and laughs!!

Dear Park Shore Parents

We had another unbelievable week! Week 5 started with us saying “Hello” to all our new August Campers on Monday and then we jumped right into our theme for the week, which was “Games Gone Wild”. This week began The Human Tic–Tac- Toe Competition which is one of Park Shore’s favorite traditions. The Bucc's and the Supremes from the Senior division and the Astros and the Blue Jays from the Junior division made it all the way to the finals! Congratulations! The Winners were the Bucc's and the Astros.

Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
Week 3 was simply a “Splashtacular” week!!!! This week brought lots of cool water activities and perfect weather. Park Shore’s Water Park quickly became a favorite for all, especially since we upgraded our new spray park. We also had great fun playing with our Super Soakers. We had a lot of laughs each and every day! In the middle of the week, the campers partied with Patches and Buttons at our Aqua Zumba Pool Party and danced the afternoon away. Then we all got to enjoy a live exciting educational animal show with lots of furry little Friends. We had Bunnies ,Chinchillas, Ferrets, Hedge Hogs & Guinea Pigs just to name a few. The week ended with a Birthday Bash at the Food Emporium, as we enjoyed eating cakes decorated in Baking & Cooking by a representative of each group.

Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
The second week of camp has come and gone so quickly but the laughter and fun we all had will definitely continue and never be forgotten. It is so wonderful to walk around camp seeing all the new friendships that have formed and to hear how everyone has had the most amazing first few weeks of camp.
We started our week by dressing up as our favorite Super Hero and, of course, paraded around the food emporium to show off our costumes and continued the following day dressing in Red,White & Blue to celebrate the 4th of July. Park Shore has so much spirit! We made up for missing a day this week by seeing an extra awesome BMX Stunt Show that left us saying, “How did they do that.” The Show was great and all the kids had such a good time and we have pictures to prove it. Welcome Home! We are so thrilled with the excitement and fun all of our campers had this week. It was an incredible feeling seeing our campers at the very first arrival of summer. As the music played, we witnessed a tremendous amount of energy flowing through the camp beginning with the arrival of the very first bus. All of us instantly re-united with past Park Shore friends and welcomed new campers as summer of 2012 officially started.

It gives me great pride to tell you that we have been working very hard to make the summer of 2012 the most exciting, memorable season Park Shore has ever experienced. Our Camp Directors, Counselors, and Activity Specialists are excited to begin having fun together with your children. Please do not forget that on Tuesday, you get to dress up your counselor as a rock star and have them parade around the food emporium showing off their Rock N Roll Look!! Let’s get creative!!!
