Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
We had another unbelievable week! Week 5 started with us saying “Hello” to all our new August Campers on Monday and then we jumped right into our theme for the week, which was “Ultimate Classics –Game on”. This week began The Human Tic–Tac- Toe Competition which is one of Park Shore’s favorite traditions. The Giants and the Red Sox made it all the way to the finals! Congratulations! At the end of the finale’ we had a few great surprises. We watched some of our Jr campers and Super Seniors Campers do a dance they choreographed just for us. It was AMAZING! Our Finale ended with a visit from our favorite fire department showing up with Sirens and lights pretending it was time to break Color War. We had to throw in a “Fake Break” just to jump start the talk and whispers of when the REAL 2011 Color War Break will happen.

Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
I now believe the quote “Time Flies when you are having fun.” The 4th week of camp has come to an end and yet it seems like just yesterday the Park Shore buses were rolling in to drop off our friends so we could start the first day of camp. We have all had an AMAZING 4 week campers and built so many memories that will last a life time!!!! This week was Carnival Week and we welcomed ALL to our “Festival of Fun”. The Whole week was action packed. We started off with Pajama Day. Then we had Carnival Ride Day and everyone spent the day on the field going on our rides and bouncers. We had electrical rides, huge slides, obstacle courses and big bouncers to play on. This week we even had our very own carnival with many arcade – like games, activities, snacks and our action packed Dance party with our very own DJ, not to mention the laughs we shared at the Dunk Tank, watching many of our friends get dunked! Friday, we were visited by Steve Max, (the Simon Sez Guy) a Park Shore favorite!! Then of course we had our crazy Hair Day and had lots of campers going home with some great prizes because of their CRAZY hair-do’s .What a GREAT week!

Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
Our “Tropical Dreams” week brought many cool water activities and perfect weather. Park Shore’s Water Works Park quickly became a favorite for all, especially since we upgraded our new spray park. We also had great fun playing with our Super Soakers. We had a lot of laughs each and every day! In the middle of the week, the campers partied with Patches and Buttons at our Pool Party. They danced the afternoon away with our very own professional DJ Brad from The Entertainment Company “The Dream Team Group.” Pre-school and Jr Girls got to do “Zumbatonic” with Mike from “Bet You Can Dance”. That was GREAT. Wait until you see all the adorable photos on line of their dancing! Then we all got to enjoy a show from the AMAZING JUNGLE BOB…..We had Alligators, Snakes, Huge Turtles, Bearded Dragons, Skinks, Spiders and some of the biggest frogs ever ,visiting us. Jungle Bob has become a staple at Park Shore. His shows are Fun Filled and educational. The week ended with a Birthday Bash at the Food Emporium as we enjoyed eating cakes decorated in Baking & Cooking by each group during our Traditional Cake Decorating Contest.

Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
The second week of camp has come and gone so quickly but the laughter and fun we all had will definitely continue and never be forgotten. It is so wonderful to walk around camp seeing all the new friendships that have formed and to hear how everyone has had the most amazing first few weeks of camp. We started our week by blowing up all our bouncers, including our new HUGE 100 foot Boot Camp Bouncy that is so much fun and really challenging.
The Toddlers got introduced to Yoga and loved it! Wednesday we continued the fun by making snow cones, getting tattoos and making candy art. And I have to say I did see some really SILLY Socks all day!!!! Thank you to everyone who participated in the silliest sock contest.

Dear Park Shore Parents
and Campers,
We are so thrilled with the excitement and fun all of our campers had this week. It was an incredible feeling seeing our campers and staff members at the very first arrival of the summer. As the music played, we witnessed a tremendous amount of energy flowing through the camp beginning with the arrival of the very first bus.
All of us instantly re-united with past Park Shore friends and welcomed new campers as the summer of 2011 officially started.
We certainly didn’t waste any time jumping right back into the swing of things. This week we all got our pictures taken, we celebrated 4th of July in its typical Park Shore fashion, the Pre-school division had it’s popping up puppets this week! They had a visit from a Park Shore Favorite, Janice Buckner, and all her perky, precocious, passionate, playful puppets that sang ,told stories and made us all giggle. The Jr & Sr division had team building activities through an amazing drumming celebration with Robert Friedman.
