The Park Shore Travel Programs offer older children the amazing opportunity to travel and explore with their friends under the careful supervision of experienced and mature Directors and Group Leaders.

Super Senior Program

For boys and girls entering 6th and 7th grade as of September 2007. This program is geared for the camper who wants to still participate in regular camp activities, but also do some traveling off the camp facility. We spend three days on the Park Shore facility and two days traveling to local destinations on Long Island such as Adventureland, Splish Splash, Cultural Arts Playhouse, the beach, fishing, and Country Fair.

Explorer Program

For boys and girls entering 6th and 7th grade as of September 2007. This program is for the more adventurous camper who wants to travel off the Park Shore facility every day. Day trips both on and off Long Island as well as two overnight trips in July and two in August, keep our Explorers excited and coming back for more. Destinations include Split Rock, the Friar Tuck Inn in the Catskills, Club Getaway, Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum, Medieval Times, Yankees Game, Mets Game, Splish Splash, Great Wolf Lodge, and so many more!

Superteen Program

For boys and girls entering 8th through 10th grade as of September 2007. This program is loaded with exciting day and overnight trips both on and off Long Island. The trips are different from the Explorer Program and go to farther destinations. One 4 day/3 night overnight trip, one 3 day / 2 night overnight trip and one 2 day / 1 night overnight trip are taken in July and August. Destinations such as Busch Gardens, Kings Dominion, Boston Adventure, Water Country USA, and other overnight trips are but a few of the exciting places that will be visited.
